Dear Frnds,

i m six sigma green belt and working as a stroe keeper in a electronic retail company showroom. i want to do six sigma project to control inventroy and to maximiz the effiency of process. kindly advice me how to start project ?

Hi Zaheer,

As you want to do the project to control inventory and maxamize the efficiency, try to do the baselining first and need to have a strong busness case to present it to the champion.

You need to ascertain the type of problem being faced and accordingly need to identify the Six sigma stratgey(Improvment/ Lean/DFSS) to be adopted.

Then you need to define the problem and then develop the project charter, which would include Business Case, Problem Statement, GOal, Scope, Timelines and the project team.

The next steps will follow the charter and then you can proceed to work on the project.
