Hi,

How to gain the project experience or overcome this hurdle, as most of the calls ask for no. of projects executed using Six sigma Black belt prior to scheduling any interview. It seems more like a pre-requisite for gaining entry for an interview call related to Six Sigma after Six Sigma black belt certification. Please help.

Regards,
Sanjay Shah

Dear Sanjay Shah,
  • Each job has its specific requirements. A job for a Six Sigma leadership position shall ask for project experience of some kind.
  • Please note - Many jobs ask for improvement projects execution and not specifically DMAIC structured Black Belt Project execution. It is advised that you get some techniaues application exposure even if you do not have chance to carry out a structured DMAIC project.
  • Also, not all jobs ask for Black Belt projects - for example this one - http://www.benchmark...er-black-belt-0 or this one - http://www.benchmark...ity-assurance-0
  • In case you need help in initiating an improvement project, do let us know and we shall fix a telecon.

Hope this answers your queries.

Best Regards,
VK
